Dexter [1996 -2006]
It is with deepest sadness that we have to tell you that Dexter died on the 29th April 2006. He had not been well for a number of weeks and had an existing heart problem which eventually took its toll.
He was his normal self right up until the end and died peacefully and quickly, which is all you can wish for. He did not suffer and nothing could have been done to save him.
He lived himself to death. He is a role model for a happy life, we miss him and we will never forget him.

Dear David,
We are looking forward to staying with you in a few weeks time (Watts/Sansome), it is with great sadness we read your email, if you are anything like us dogs mean more to us than many humans! in fact the more humans we meet the more we like our dogs!
Best Wishes
Ben & Christine, & Henry Watts

I'm so sorry to hear about Dexter - I really enjoyed reading about his antics. I'm sure that he had a great and happy life with your family. He will be missed by everyone that he touched.
Our deepest sympathy for your loss.
Dexter inspired Zoe and Lola's website, which has in turn helped inspire others to do the same. He brought a lot of joy to our home as we watched his many antics over the past 6 months. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Dexter was such a character - I used to look at his blog when waiting for the arrival of my own weim pup...the pictures and captions used to make me chuckle. I'm sure he'll be starting a brand new stick collection and barking at the horses at Rainbow Bridge.
Take care xx
I haven't visited in a couple of months & my heart skipped a beat when I read about Dexter's death. I am profoundly sorry for your loss. It's been a joy to read your blog & see the photographs.
All the best...
I, too, haven't visited in months and was shocked and saddened to read of Dexter's death. I hope once you've had time to heal that you'll welcome a new Weimie into your hearts and lives. It's really the only cure for losing one.
Dear David and Leza,
I am a reader of Dexter's blog and have not visited for a very long time, so I am jsut hearing of his passing today. I am truly heartbroken. He was an exceptional dog and I know that you both loved him dearly. I hope that when the time is right you will welcome another Weim into your home. My deepest condolences, Gail & Fog
